Vivo is reportedly gearing up to introduce its next flagship smartphone in India, the Vivo X300 Ultra. Vivo’s Ultra series smartphones have built a strong reputation and the upcoming model is expected to take things even further. Here’s what we know about the upcoming launch and key features.
According to details revealed by Smartprix in collaboration with tipster Yogesh Brar @heyitsyogesh on X, the Vivo X300 Ultra is set to launch in India on May 7. The report also suggests that the smartphone will go on sale starting May 14 and give buyers a short wait after the official announcement.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to feature a large 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a sharp 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This combination is likely to deliver a premium viewing experience with smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals.
In terms of performance, the smartphone will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset that will position it among the most powerful devices in the market.
The focus on photography continues with the device said to feature a triple rear camera setup that includes two 200MP sensors. This setup is expected to offer improved detail, enhanced zoom capabilities and overall flagship-level imaging performance. For selfies and video calls, the phone is tipped to include a 50MP front camera.
Backing the device is a large 6,600mAh battery that is expected to support 100W fast charging for quick top-ups. On the software front, the Vivo X300 Ultra will run on Origin OS 6 offering a refined and customisable user experience.
Not much is known about the pricing at the moment. But looking at the specs we can assume the upcoming Vivo smartphone is expected to carry a premium price tag.
