Vivo has officially confirmed the India launch date for its flagship smartphones, the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE. Both devices are set to debut in the country on May 6 following weeks of leaks and speculation. The company has also gone live with dedicated landing pages on its official India website and revealed key specifications ahead of the launch.
Both smartphones will be available for purchase via Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo’s online store and offline retail outlets across India. Here are more details.
According to teasers, it can be confirmed that Vivo X300 Ultra is a premium photography-centric flagship and will be offered in Victory Green and Eclipse Black colour options.
A major highlight of the device is its support for professional-grade camera accessories. Users will have the option to use the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra that offers a 400mm equivalent focal length with 4.7x magnification for long-range photography. Alternatively, the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 provides a 200mm equivalent focal length in a more compact form factor weighing just 153g.

The smartphone is confirmed to receive up to five years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
In terms of hardware, the device carries over its specifications from the China launch. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and features a large 5800 mm² vapour chamber cooling system for thermal management. The smartphone is backed by a 6,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
The Vivo X300 FE arrives as a more compact yet capable flagship option. It will be available in Urban Olive, Lilac Purple and Noir Black colour variants with Urban Olive option being exclusive to the Indian market.
Similar to the Ultra model, the X300 FE also supports the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 accessory. This 200mm equivalent lens offers 2.35x magnification and weighs just 153g making it suitable for both photography and videography across different modes including stage shooting.

The landing page confirms that the Vivo X300 FE will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It will be equipped with a 6,500mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Other specifications remain unchanged from its global variant that was unveiled recently.
More details including pricing and availability are expected to be announced at the official launch event on May 6.
