Vivo has announced a new collaboration with National Geographic Creative Works for ‘Go Into The Wild’ project. It is an immersive photography and storytelling campaign captured exclusively on the recently launched Vivo X300 Series. The initiative sends a Nat Geo Explorer and a group of creators across India’s wild landscapes to document remote terrains, wildlife behaviour, and natural wonders with cinematic precision.
Speaking about the partnership, Geetaj Channana, Head of Corporate Strategy, Vivo India, said, “At vivo, we aim to build technology that inspires people to create, explore, and connect more deeply with the world around them. The X300 Series carries this mission forward, blending our imaging expertise with advanced AI and optical innovation to capture moments with striking clarity and emotion. Through this collaboration, we aim to demonstrate what smartphone imaging can truly achieve. The X300 Series is engineered to perform across extreme environments—low light, vast landscapes, and fast-moving wildlife—and our partnership with National Geographic Creative Works brings these capabilities to life in the most authentic setting: the wild.”
The ‘Go Into The Wild’ campaign features a curated team of photographers, creators, and a Nat Geo Explorer who used the X300 Series to capture powerful visual stories across forests, mountains, deserts, and coastal habitats. Their work showcases how vivo’s ZEISS optics, ultra-high-resolution sensors, and pro-grade stabilisation push the boundaries of smartphone imaging, enabling creators to document nature with exceptional depth and realism.
A National Geographic Spokesperson added, “Building on the success of our collaboration with vivo on Xplore the Xtreme, we are delighted to reunite for ‘Go Into the Wild’. Photography lies at the heart of our storytelling, and this collaboration allows us to continue celebrating the beauty and complexity of wildlife. By bringing together Nat Geo’s legacy of visual exploration with vivo’s shared passion for powerful imagery, we aim to inspire audiences with authentic moments from the natural world.”
The campaign rollout includes a series of short films shot on the X300 Series, along with OOH and digital stories, immersive social media content, and an exclusive visual showcase.
The newly released Vivo X300 Series, which includes the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, combines professional-grade ZEISS optics, OriginOS 6, upgraded AI features, and flagship-level performance powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
The standard vivo X300 features a compact flagship design and is equipped with a 200MP ZEISS main camera. It incorporates the vivo Portrait Engine for refined portraits and the AI Landscape Master for wide-angle shots with enhanced clarity and colour balance. The device is aimed at users who prefer a smaller form factor without compromising on premium imaging, especially in low light or complex lighting setups.
The Vivo X300 Pro, on the other hand, is designed with a strong emphasis on telephoto capabilities. It comes with a 200MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera and debuts India’s first Telephoto Bird Shots feature. The phone is also compatible with the ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit, offering up to 8.5x optical zoom. It is ideal for capturing distant subjects and fast-moving wildlife while maintaining high detail.
