Vivo is set to unveil the Vivo X Fold 6 in China on June 26. Ahead of its official debut, a new leak has revealed the smartphone’s alleged pricing.
The foldable flagship has already appeared in official pre-order listings confirming multiple memory and storage variants. Now, a leaked image suggests that the upcoming device could arrive with a substantial price increase compared to the previous generation. Here are more details.
Vivo X Fold 6 Pricing Leaked Ahead of Launch

According to a viral image of X Fold 6 retail box on Weibo, the Vivo X Fold 6 will be offered in four configurations in the Chinese market.
The entry-level model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is said to be priced at 9,999 Yuan (around $1,475). The 12GB + 512GB variant could cost 10,999 Yuan (approximately $1,625), while the 16GB + 512GB model is tipped to carry a price tag of 11,499 Yuan (around $1,700). The top-end 16GB + 1TB version is reportedly priced at 12,499 Yuan (roughly $1,845).

If the leak proves accurate, the Vivo X Fold 6 will be significantly more expensive than its predecessor.
For comparison, the Vivo X Fold 5 launched in China at 6,999 Yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB variant was priced at 7,999 Yuan, while the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB versions debuted at 8,499 Yuan and 9,499 Yuan, respectively.
Based on the leaked figures, the X Fold 6 could see a price increase of nearly 40 percent across corresponding storage variants. This aligns more closely with the pricing strategy adopted by rival foldable smartphones.
For reference, the base 12GB + 256GB variant of the Honor Magic V6 is priced at 8,999 Yuan, while the Oppo Find N6 starts at 9,999 Yuan for the same configuration.
Vivo X Fold 6 – Specifications (Confirmed and Rumoured)
As per reports, the upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 is reportedly powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor.
The company has already confirmed several key specifications of the foldable device. The X Fold 6 will feature an 8.02-inch foldable OLED display and a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The camera system will also include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The foldable phone is expected to run OriginOS 6 Fold UI and will be backed by a large 7,000mAh battery. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for a telephoto extender accessory aimed at enhancing zoom photography capabilities.
As with any pre-launch leak, the reported pricing and other details should be treated cautiously. Vivo is expected to reveal complete specifications, pricing, and availability details on June 26.
