Vivo launched the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro foldable phones in China in March.
The company is expected to release the X Fold 3 Pro in global markets like India soon.
Signs of an imminent global launch are appearing as the phones have been spotted on certification sites worldwide.
More recently though, the X Fold 3 Pro model has now shown up on the Geekbench benchmark platform, revealing some key specs.
The global variant of the X Fold 3 Pro has the model number V2330.
On Geekbench 6, it scored 2146 points in the single-core test and 6304 points in the multi-core test.
That’s pretty impressive for a foldable phone and is just ahead of Samsung’s Z Fold5 although the latter is nearly one year old.
The listing shows the phone has an octa-core processor with a 1+3+2+2 core configuration, up to 3.3GHz peak speed, a codename “pineapple”, and an Adreno 750 GPU.
It will have 16GB RAM and run Android 14 with Vivo’s FunTouchOS skin on top.
This is inline with the specs revealed across the phone’s China launch.
Last week, the X Fold 3 Pro appeared on India’s BIS certification database, hinting at an India launch.
However, Vivo hasn’t officially announced a global release for the X Fold 3 series yet.
As for specs, the X Fold 3 Pro has a 6.53-inch outer display and an 8.03-inch inner folding display, both OLED with 120Hz refresh rate.
It packs a 5,700mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As mentioned it does pack in Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, 50MP ultra-wide, and 64MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom.
There’s also a 32MP selfie camera.
While the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro launched in China, its appearance on benchmarks and certification sites indicates a global release could be on the horizon soon, including markets like India.
