Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo Watch GT 2 in China, expanding its smartwatch lineup. This comes alongside the launch of the Vivo X300 series, Vivo TWS 5, and Vivo Pad 5e. The new smartwatch features a sleek rectangular design, a bright AMOLED display, and impressive battery endurance of up to 33 days on a single charge. Here’s more on that.
The Vivo Watch GT 2 is priced at CNY 499 (approximately Rs. 6,200) for the Bluetooth version, while the eSIM variant costs CNY 699 (around Rs. 8,700).
The smartwatch is offered in multiple colour options including Free Blue, Origin Black, Obsidian Black, Shell Powder, and White Space (translated from Chinese). It is available for purchase through the official Vivo China e-store.
The Vivo Watch GT 2 boasts a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with 432×514 pixel resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of up to 2,400 nits. The smartwatch features ultra-narrow and uniform bezels, customisable watch faces, and interchangeable straps, allowing users to personalise their look easily. It runs on BlueOS 3.0 (Blue River Operating System 3.0), Vivo’s latest smartwatch interface designed for better performance and smooth operation.
For fitness and health tracking, the Watch GT 2 includes an optical heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen (SpO2) monitor, and over 100 built-in sports modes. The device also comes with an acceleration sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, and Hall sensor. It is 2ATM water-resistant, making it suitable for daily use and light water exposure.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC for wireless pairing and quick payments. The eSIM variant allows users to make and receive calls directly from the watch without needing a smartphone nearby.
The Bluetooth version of the Vivo Watch GT 2 packs a 695mAh battery, offering up to 33 days of battery life on a single charge. Meanwhile, the eSIM model houses a 595mAh battery, which is claimed to last for up to 28 days.
In terms of size, the smartwatch measures 47.54×40.19×10.97mm, while the Bluetooth version weighs 35.8g and the eSIM variant weighs slightly less at 34.8g.
