We recently reported on how Vivo is now preparing to expand its V80 smartphone lineup with a new model, the Vivo V80 FE 5G. The upcoming smartphone has now received certification from Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), hinting at an upcoming launch. The certification confirms model number and network connectivity details but doesn’t reveal any specs.
Vivo V80 FE Gets NBTC Certification
According to latest post by tipster Anvin on X, the Vivo V80 FE carrying the model number V2624 has appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification database. The listing identifies the device as the Vivo V80 FE and mentions Vivo Mobile Communication Co., Ltd., China as its manufacturer.
The smartphone has received approval under the Class B Telecommunications Equipment Certification category. The certification also confirms support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5G NR connectivity.
The device is listed under certificate number B38718-26. While the NBTC listing does not reveal any specifications, it suggests that Vivo is now progressing towards smartphone launch.

Vivo V80 FE Expected Specifications
Recent leaks have offered some details about the upcoming Vivo V80 FE 5G. The smartphone is expected to feature a punch-hole display with a 1.5K resolution. However, its exact screen size and refresh rate remain unknown.
In terms of design, leaked images suggest that the phone could share a similar rear design with the standard Vivo V80 5G. It is expected to feature a floating-style camera module although the FE variant could have two rear cameras instead of the triple-camera setup on the standard model.
The camera module is also expected to feature an Aura Ring light positioned opposite the camera lenses along with ZEISS branding.
Vivo V80 FE 5G is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel ZEISS camera system including a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, the smartphone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras are reportedly capable of recording videos in 4K resolution.
The smartphone is also tipped to pack a large 7,000mAh battery in the global market with support for 90W FlashCharge fast charging.
Vivo V80 FE Launch Timeline
The upcoming V80 FE 5G was spotted in leaked images from a private brand event in Philippines recently. The images showed presentation slides confirming that the smartphone name and hinted that it is coming soon.
Now, the latest NBTC certification is another indication that the smartphone could be getting closer to its launch. However, Vivo has not officially confirmed the device’s specifications or launch timeline.
