Vivo has officially commenced sales of the Vivo V70 Elite and the standard Vivo V70 in India. The two smartphones were launched in the country on February 19 and are now available for purchase through leading e-commerce platforms, Vivo’s official website and select offline retail outlets. Here’s everything you need to know.

The Vivo V70 price in India begins at Rs. 45,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The higher 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration is priced at Rs. 49,999.
The handset is offered in Lemon Yellow and Passion Red colour options.

The Vivo V70 Elite, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 51,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, Rs. 56,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and Rs. 61,999 for the 12GB + 512GB option.
It is available in Authentic Black, Passion Red, and Sand Beige finishes.
As part of launch offers, customers can avail up to 10 percent instant discount when using HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, or Kotak Bank cards. Alternatively, buyers can opt for up to 10 percent exchange bonus or choose no-cost EMI options for up to 18 months.
The Vivo V70 series is currently on sale via Flipkart, Amazon, the Vivo India online store, and authorised offline retail stores across the country.
Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 feature 6.59-inch VM9 AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1,260×2,750 pixels, offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, 459ppi pixel density, and support for the P3 wide colour gamut.
The devices also come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Powering the Vivo V70 Elite is an octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset built on a 4nm process. The standard Vivo V70 is equipped with an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Both models are paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 internal storage.
The phones are backed by 6,500mAh batteries with support for 90W wired fast charging.
For photography, the Vivo V70 series sports Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setups. Both phones include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel Super Telephoto camera with an f/2.65 aperture and OIS, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The devices support video recording at up to 4K resolution.
Both smartphones are dual-SIM devices that run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. Vivo has also promised six years of security updates for the V70 series.
