The Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 have officially launched in India, expanding the company’s premium V-series lineup. Both devices feature large 6,500mAh batteries, Snapdragon processors, and triple rear camera setups led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Vivo series, starting with price and availability in the country.
The Vivo V70 Elite price in India starts at Rs. 51,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 56,999, while the top-end 12GB + 512GB configuration costs Rs. 61,999.
Meanwhile, the Vivo V70 is priced at Rs. 45,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option and Rs. 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. As part of launch offers, Vivo is providing up to 10 percent cashback on purchases made using SBI, HDFC Bank, and Yes Bank cards.
The Vivo V70 Elite is available in Authentic Black, Passion Red, and Sand Beige finishes, whereas the Vivo V70 comes in Lemon Yellow and Passion Red colour options.
The Vivo V70 series will go on sale in India on February X via Flipkart and the Vivo online store.
Both smartphones are dual-SIM devices running Android 16-based OriginOS 6. Vivo has promised six years of security updates for the new models, enhancing their long-term software support.
The Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 sport 6.59-inch VM9 AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1,260×2,750 pixels. The panels support up to 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, 459ppi pixel density, and P3 wide colour gamut. The company also claims IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance on both devices.

The Vivo V70 Elite is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, delivering peak clock speeds of up to 3GHz. It is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
On the other hand, the Vivo V70 runs on the octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC clocked at up to 2.8GHz, coupled with 8GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 onboard storage.
For photography, both smartphones feature Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera systems. The setup includes a 50-megapixel (f/1.88) primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel (f/2.65) Super Telephoto camera with OIS, and an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide lens. On the front, both models are equipped with 50-megapixel (f/2.0) selfie cameras capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution.
Battery capacity is another key highlight of the Vivo V70 series. Both phones pack 6,500mAh batteries with support for 90W wired fast charging. The handsets measure 157.52×74.33×7.59mm and weigh approximately 194 grams each.
In terms of sensors, the Vivo V70 Elite includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, colour temperature sensor, infrared (IR) blaster, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for security. The standard Vivo V70 also features most of these sensors but replaces the IR blaster with a gyroscope.
Connectivity options on the Vivo V70 series include 5G, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC, and multiple navigation systems such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.
