Vivo has officially launched its latest mid-range, camera-focused smartphone, the Vivo V60. It brings a blend of high-end imaging features, a massive battery and a slim profile.
Speaking of the launch, Geetaj Channana, Head of Corporate Strategy, Vivo India, said, “At Vivo, our mission goes beyond building feature-rich smartphones as we strive to create meaningful technology experiences that become an extension of people’s lives. The V series has been instrumental in vivo’s journey in India, consistently setting new benchmarks in smartphone imaging and design. With the vivo V60, we built on the overwhelming success of the V50 and continue to push boundaries by combining elegant aesthetics, portrait imaging, and intuitive intelligence, it is more than just a smartphone—it’s a creative companion that empowers users to tell their stories, capture life’s most cherished moments, and connect effortlessly. The V60 is a true reflection of our understanding of what Indian consumers seek: style, substance, and simplicity in one seamless experience.”
Here’s more about the newly launched smartphones.
The Vivo V60 features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000 nits peak brightness and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, along with a vapor chamber cooling system for sustained performance.
One of the phone’s standout features is its ZEISS-backed triple rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom, the same sensor used in the Vivo X200, alongside a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The setup is complemented by an Aura Ring LED flash, AI Four-Season Portraits, and an India-exclusive Wedding vLog mode. On the front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view.
Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
Vivo claims it is the slimmest phone to feature such a large battery, measuring just 7.53mm thick and weighing 192g (Mist Grey variant). The V60 runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and promises four years of Android OS updates plus six years of security patches. Additional features include IP68 and IP69 ratings, dual SIM support, 4K video recording, and AI capabilities powered by Google Gemini.
In India, the Vivo V60 will be available in Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue and Auspicious Gold colour options.
