* The Vivo V27 series India launch date is March 1st.
* The lineup will include three models: the Vivo V27, Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27e.
* The Vivo V27 series will be sold via Flipkart online.
The Vivo V27 series India launch date has been officially revealed by the company via Twitter. This comes just days after the launch date was accidentally revealed via a Flipkart listing. The lineup is expected to include three models: the Vivo V27, Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27e.
However, we’re uncertain if the V27e will also be announced on the same day. These will succeed the Vivo V25 series and are expected to bring some major design and hardware improvements. Both models should be sold via Flipkart online besides the Vivo e-store and offline outlets.
The teaser video posted by the company shows a curved screen and triple rear cameras placed in a large rectangular module.
The Vivo V27 series will launch in India on March 1st at 12 PM IST.
Additionally, live shots of the V27 Pro model have surfaced online. YouTuber AndroWide has tweeted out a couple of images of the V27 Pro revealing that it will have a color-changing back.
Going by the images, the device will have a pleasant light blue color option which will change into a darker shade of blue once it is exposed to sunlight. This likely means that other color options might also have this feature.
We already know that the Vivo V27 Pro is a rebranded Vivo S16 Pro that was launched last year in China. The Mint color option of the S16 Pro could come to India as well. The Mint color model changes colors to a deep shade of Aqua once exposed to sunlight. Other than that, we can also expect a glittery black option to also launch in India.
The Vivo V27 series price in India details have been leaked. The vanilla V27 is said to cost around Rs 35,000, probably for the base model, while the Vivo V27 Pro would be in the range of Rs 40,000, as per the sources. We should learn more details about the Vivo V27 series soon.
As said, both the V27 and V27 Pro will have 60-degree screen curvature displays with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, at least 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an FHD+ resolution.
While the vanilla Vivo V27 is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, the Pro version will ship with the Dimensity 8200 chipset. Both models are likely to boot Android 13 OS with Funtouch skin out of the box.
Moving to cameras, the Vivo V27 series is rumoured to come with the latest Sony IMX766V primary sensor on the back with OIS support.
Both models will come with a colour-changing glass back design. The Vivo V27 and V27 Pro will come in two storage variants– 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB storage.
