Vivo has officially launched its latest T-series smartphone, the Vivo T5x 5G, in India. Headlining for its large 7,200mAh battery, this new addition to Vivo’s T-series mostly caters to the budget and mid-range segment.
Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Gandhi, Chief Business officer- Online, Vivo India, stated, “We are excited to introduce the vivo T5x 5G in India, marking the first launch of the year in our new T5 series. further strengthening our series-T portfolio, which has consistently resonated with young consumers seeking powerful performance and great value. The Vivo T5x 5G is priced at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model; the 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 20,999; and the top-end 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 22,999.

The smartphone is available online via Flipkart, which is the brand’s primary digital retail partner, as well as through the Vivo online store. The company has also confirmed that the device will be available at offline retail stores. The sale is scheduled to start on March 24th, 2026.

The handset comes in two colour options, which are Cyber Green and Star Silver.
The Vivo T5x 5G features a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,250 nits peak brightness. The design includes a flat rear panel along with a square-rounded camera module that houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a ring light.
One of the standout features is its IP69+ rating, offering strong resistance against dust and water. The device also carries SGS drop resistance certification along with military-grade durability ratings.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo octa-core processor. The chipset has reportedly achieved an AnTuTu score of over 1 million points. On the software side, the phone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

To enhance the gaming experience, Vivo has included an Ultra Game Mode that offers features such as 4D gaming vibrations, haptic feedback, and a Game Voice Changer for altering in-game audio.
The Vivo T5x 5G is equipped with a large 7,200mAh battery, which the company claims is currently the biggest in its segment. It supports 44W wired fast charging.
According to Vivo’s internal testing, the battery can deliver up to 40 hours of video playback, more than 15 hours of gaming on titles like BGMI, and up to 93 hours of music playback on a single charge.
