Ahead of its launch on April 17th, vivo has revealed that its upcoming T3X smartphone will be packing an impressively large 6,000mAh battery to keep it powered for extended periods.
The Chinese smartphone maker took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to officially confirm the T3X’s huge battery capacity, although details around charging speeds were not disclosed.
Prior to this battery revelation, vivo had already teased some of the T3X’s other key specifications.
The phone is set to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and will feature 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of onboard storage out of the box, though additional memory configurations may be available.
Vivo has also stated that the T3X 5G will carry a sub-Rs15,000 price tag when it launches in India next week.
Further details on pricing for other markets have not been provided yet.
According to leaked information, the vivo T3X will sport a dual rear camera setup highlighted by a 50MP main sensor accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor.
On the front, it’s expected to house an 8MP selfie camera.
The phone is tipped to offer IP64 certification for dust and splash resistance, while a side-mounted fingerprint sensor could provide biometric security.
Rumored dimensions put it at around 7.99mm thick and 199 grams in weight.
While vivo has now officially confirmed the T3X’s huge 6,000mAh battery capacity, the remaining mystery is what fast charging speeds it will support to quickly top up that sizeable cell when needed.
More details on charging capabilities along with full specifications, pricing and availability should all be officially revealed when vivo unveils the T3X at its launch event on April 17th.
With its large battery, decent processor and affordable price point, the vivo T3X could shape up to be an attractive budget smartphone option when it arrives next week.
