Vivo T2x 5G Unboxing

Vivo T2x 5G comes in a standard white Vivo retail box with Vivo branding in light grey colour and the product name mentioned in bold on the top. The back of the retail box mentioned all details significant product details.

The back of the box clearly highlights the most significant features of the smartphone such as MediaTek Dimensity 6020 5G Processor, Extended RAM 3.0, 50-Megapixel Super Night Camera and 5000mAh Battery with 18W Fast Charging among others.

As we open the retail box, right at the top we get the neatly tucked Vivo T2x 5G smartphone itself. Apart from the smartphone, the retail box has a bunch of other accessories and important paperwork. Contents of the retail box include the USB power adapter, USB cable, Sim eject tool, TPU phone case, a pre-applied protective screen film, and important documentation.

Now, once you take out the phone, the first thing that grabs your attention is the design of the device. Let’s get to that.

Vivo T2x 5G Design

One of the first you will notice about Vivo T2x 5G is its design quality. The Ultra slim body of T2X 5G makes it one of the easy-to-hold Vivo smartphones with a boxy body design.

With just 8.15 mm thickness and a 2.5D straight frame, the overall design of this smartphone is attractive. It perfectly integrates fashion with simplicity. The smooth-to-touch finish adds an extra touch of glamour while also adding additional comfort in holding the device.

The smartphone comes in three colours option including Aurora Gold, Marine Blue and Glimmer Black. And the colours become much more captivating thanks to the innovative Starlight Inner Plating Process. The frosted back cover gives off a delicate and shiny look due to the upgrade of the surface treatment technology.

The design also stands out for the rear camera area. It is stitched with a matte back cover that gives it an attractive look laced with simplicity and ingenuity.

Overall, design-wise, Vivo T2x 5G with its straight frame boxy design is neat and stylish with a concept that can be credited with creativity.

Vivo T2x 5G Display

The Vivo T2X 5G features a stunning 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a pixel density of 401 ppi. The aspect ratio of 20:9 and the bezel-less design with a waterdrop notch provide a wide and immersive viewing experience.

We tried watching some videos on the smartphone to understand its display quality and the results were satisfactory. While there is nothing extraordinary about the display quality and definitely a higher quality display would have made the device a total steal, there is not much to complain regarding the overall display performance.

A positive, however, is the screen-to-body ratio of 84.31%. This ensures minimal bezels, making it easy to hold and operate the device with one hand.

Talking of the positives, we also tested the display outdoors and it remains quite bright with a maximum brightness of 650 nits. This makes the display easy to read even under direct sunlight.

While we are discussing the display positives, the icing on the cake is the 144Hz refresh rate. It makes the display performance smooth and perfect for seamless scrolling and transitions.

Overall, although specification-wise the display may seem a little underwhelming, after using the device we can say there is nothing much that we missed. It could easily be a choice for gamers and heavy users. We found the Vivo T2X 5G’s display decent to use which offers a good viewing experience for users.

Vivo T2x 5G Performance

The Vivo T2X 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, which is built on a 7nm fabrication process and features an octa-core CPU. The CPU consists of a dual-core Cortex A76 clocked at 2.2 GHz, a Hexa-core Cortex A55 clocked at 2 GHz, and a quad-core processor.

This combination of processors provides excellent performance for daily tasks, gaming, and multitasking. The phone also comes with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which is a decent amount of memory for most users. Moreover, Vivo claims that the 8 GB extended RAM allows you to run 27 apps at the same time, ensuring that you switch between apps smoothly at all times.

In terms of graphics, the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU provides ample performance for gaming and other graphics-intensive tasks. The 64-bit architecture ensures compatibility with all modern apps and operating systems. Overall, the hardware features of the Vivo T2X 5G are impressive and should provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for most users.

T2x 5G further boasts 128 GB of ROM and supports up to 1 TB of expanded capacity, making you free from anxiety on storage.

Overall, the Vivo T2X 5G should be able to handle most tasks, including gaming, without any significant lag or stutter. However, it’s worth noting that the actual performance of the phone will also depend on factors such as software optimization, app compatibility, and individual usage patterns.

Vivo T2x 5G Camera

Although the selfie camera is rather disappointing, we in our testing of the Vivo T2x 5G are really impressed with the overall camera features. The 50-megapixel primary camera is able to capture stunningly clear and detailed photos, even in low-light conditions. The f/1.8 aperture allows for more light to enter the lens, resulting in brighter and more vivid images.

The 2-megapixel macro camera is also a nice addition. We tried taking some close-up shots, it could capture those shots with great detail and clarity.

The autofocus also works seamlessly, making it easy to focus on the subject of the photo, while the LED flash ensures that images are well-lit and not too dark.

We also loved the various shooting modes available, including continuous shooting and HDR, which make it easier to capture more detailed and dynamic images. Another aspect to like about the camera, both rear and front, is the Super Night Mode. This particular mode was impressive during our shoot test. It captures every wonderful moment in the nighttime in purer and more expressive images.

The camera features like digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus make it even more convenient to take great pictures.

Overall, we are satisfied with the camera performance of the Vivo T2X 5G and would recommend it to anyone looking for a phone with a great camera.

Vivo T2x 5G Battery

Based on the battery features, we can say that the Vivo T2X 5G offers an impressive battery life. With a massive 5000mAh battery capacity and 18W fast charging support, the phone can easily last all day on a single charge.

We performed a couple of battery tests on the device and the results were in line with our expectations.

We were able to use the phone for several hours on end, streaming videos, browsing social media, and making calls, without having to worry about running out of battery.

The phone’s quick charging feature is also a big plus, as it allows me to quickly charge the battery when needed. The USB Type-C port makes it easy to charge the phone and also ensures faster data transfer speeds.

Overall, the battery performance of the Vivo T2X 5G is beyond satisfactory for a smartphone of this price point. It offers a reliable and long-lasting battery life, making it a perfect phone for everyday regular smartphone usage.

Vivo T2x 5G Connectivity

Vivo is marketing T2x 5G as the most affordable 5G phone in India, which automatically makes it a great selling point.

The 5G network is the fast-growing technology upgrade that every smartphone user in India is looking forward to. So, having a great 5G smartphone with excellent overall features and affordable pricing will definitely grab the eyeballs that it is targeting.

Further, with regards to connectivity, the Vivo T2x supports 4G, VoLTE, and advanced 5G networks. In addition, it comes equipped with Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.2, A-GPS, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi.

Verdict

Overall, the Vivo T2X 5G is a well-rounded smartphone that comes with an impressive set of features. The phone’s 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD immersive display with a waterdrop notch provides a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. The MediaTek Dimensity 6020 5G processor, 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128 GB internal storage offer fast and efficient performance, allowing users to easily multitask and store large amounts of data.

The dual camera setup produces clear and detailed images, while the 8-megapixel front camera can’t be termed great but can take decent selfies and video calls. The phone’s 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support is definitely a plus point as it ensures a long-lasting battery life.

We also appreciate Vivo going for the USB Type-C port, making it easy to charge the phone and transfer data.

All in all, the Vivo T2X 5G is a good smartphone that offers reliable performance, a great camera, and long-lasting battery life, making it a great choice for people who want a smartphone that can keep up with their busy lifestyle.

FAQs on Vivo T2x 5G

Q1. How to make my Vivo phone run smoothly?

Answer. There are some reasons that can cause the phone to lag or hang. Please refer to the methods below for help:

  • When available RAM is insufficient, it is easy to cause the lagging issue. We suggest you close apps running in the background more often and disable Autostart except for the apps frequently used;
  • When the most space of the system or SD card is occupied, the lagging issue is easy to happen. You can follow these steps to release the space of your phone and SD card:
  • Enter i Manager>Space cleanup(management) to clean up the cache and trash more often
  • Remove the apps you infrequently use;
  • Back upmedia and document files in Cloud Drive, and then remove them from your phone and SD card;
  • The update is usually meant to optimize the system’s compatibility and stability for the newly released phone. It can optimize existing problems or system bugs. We suggest you keep your phone on the latest version
  • Some third-party apps can also make the phone lag. We suggest you download the apps from Play Store or V-Appstore and keep them in the latest version;
  • Low power mode saves power by reducing the performance of the phone. When lagging or hanging, do not turn on Low power mode;
  • Go to Settings>More settings>Backup & Reset>Erase all data>Reset phone. It will delete data on your phone. Please back up your important data before doing it.

If it still exists and happens frequently, please feel free to contact Vivo’s authorised service centre.
