Vivo Smartphone carrying the model number V2620A has been listed in China Telecom’s product database. The same model number had earlier appeared on the Google Play Supported Devices List with the Vivo S60t name. However, its specifications have led to speculation that Vivo could launch this phone in the global market under the V80 name. Here’s more on what we know so far.
Vivo S60t Spotted On China Telecom
According to the details shared in a recent 91Mobiles report, the China Telecom listing gives the Vivo S60t a 7,200mAh battery, which stands out as one of its key specifications. For comparison, the Vivo V70 comes with a 6,500mAh battery.
This capacity is also in line with an earlier report about the Vivo V80, which claimed that the upcoming V-series phone would feature a 7,200mAh battery. This makes the S60t-V80 connection more interesting, although Vivo has not officially confirmed that the two phones are the same device.
The listing also mentions Android 17, but the exact software branding for the phone has not been confirmed yet.
The phone shown in the China Telecom listing has a design that looks similar to the Vivo V80 teasers. It features a centred punch-hole cutout on the front, while the rear panel carries a large camera island.
The camera module includes two large circular rings along with a smaller sensor and flash. Vivo is expected to offer the S60t in Starry Sea, Midsummer Night and Early Summer Green colours.
Vivo S60t – What Else We Know So Far?
China Telecom has listed the phone three configurations, 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
For photography, the phone is listed with a 50MP front camera. At the back, it reportedly has a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP + 50MP + 8MP combination.
The chipset information provides another possible link to the Vivo V80. The V80 has already appeared on Geekbench with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which is also the chipset used by its predecessor. That Geekbench appearance showed the V80 with 8GB of RAM. The China Telecom listing, however, suggests Vivo could offer the phone in higher-memory versions as well including 12GB RAM configurations.
The S60t measures 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.89mm and weighs 206 grams.
Vivo has already started teasing the V80 in India highlighting its camera capabilities, AI features, low-light photography improvements and display experience. Vivo has also confirmed that the phone will have the biggest battery in a V-series model.
For now, Vivo has not confirmed that the S60t will be launched globally as the V80.
