Vivo has now started posting teasers on Chinese social media apps revealing important details about the upcoming smartphones. Newly shared teasers have now confirmed several key specifications and design elements of the Vivo S60 lineup.
On Chinese app Weibo, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao recently shared teaser images showcasing the front design of the Vivo S60 series. The images confirm that the smartphones will feature a flat display design.
Vivo has also confirmed that the entire series will come equipped with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
According to the company, the fingerprint sensor is capable of unlocking the device in as little as 0.1 seconds, while fingerprint registration can reportedly be completed within one second.
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo S60 series will be its large 7,200mAh battery. Vivo has confirmed that the lineup will support 90W fast charging technology.
Apart from the battery and charging details, the company has also confirmed several other features for the series. These include stereo dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback, an IR blaster, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance.
Separately, an official looking marketing image has surfaced on Chinese social media platforms giving us a glimpse of the smartphone’s rear panel design. The device appears to feature a triple rear camera setup and reports suggest that the lineup may include a Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto camera as part of the camera system.
Previous leaks have also revealed more details about the standard Vivo S60 model. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution support. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.
