Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo Pad 5e in China, expanding its Pad 5 tablet lineup. It joins the existing Vivo Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro models in the series. This wasn’t the only launch as the Chinese brand also released the latest flagship smartphones Vivo X300, Vivo X300 Pro, Vivo Watch GT 2 and Vivo TWS 5.
While we will share more about the rest of the launches in separate posts, here’s everything you need to know about Vivo Pad 5e.
The Vivo Pad 5e features a 12.1-inch display with 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and crisp detail. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The base variant includes LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of audio, Vivo has equipped the tablet with a four-speaker panoramic acoustic system. The Pad 5e also supports several AI-powered tools including AI transcription, Circle to Search, AI PPT Assistant, multi-screen interconnection, small window collaboration, and wireless printing.
For cameras, the tablet sports a single 8MP rear camera housed in a circular module, while the front panel carries a 5MP selfie camera for video calls and selfies.
Powering the device is a 10,000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support via a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and facial recognition for security.
The standard version of the Vivo Pad 5e measures 266.43×192×6.62mm and weighs approximately 584 grams.
It runs Android 15-based OriginOS 5 out of the box.

The sale of the device will begin on October 17 through Vivo’s official online store in China.
The standard Vivo Pad 5e will be available in blue, black, and purple colour options, while the soft light edition will come in blue and black finishes.
As for pricing, the Vivo Pad 5e starts at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 25,000) for the base model featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher-end variants are priced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 29,000) for 8GB + 256GB, CNY 2,599 (approx. Rs. 32,000) for 12GB + 256GB, and CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 37,000) for the top-end 16GB + 512GB configuration.
Vivo has also launched a soft light version of the tablet, priced at CNY 2,199 (around Rs. 27,000) for the 8GB + 128GB model and CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 31,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model.
