From camera-focused flagships to performance-driven mid-range phones, here’s a complete list of upcoming smartphones expected to launch in India in May 2026.

OPPO Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra

OPPO has confirmed that the Oppo Find X9s and Oppo Find X9 Ultra will launch in India in May 2026. These devices will expand the Find X9 Series lineup, which already includes the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro launched in November 2025.

The Find X9 Ultra will sit at the top of the lineup and introduce a next-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System powered by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine. The camera system combines advanced optics with computational imaging to deliver consistent results across different scenarios. It will also feature a 50MP 10x optical telephoto camera designed for long-range photography while maintaining detail. Developed in partnership with Hasselblad, the device is expected to offer advanced photography and video capabilities.

Meanwhile, the Find X9s is positioned as a flagship device focused on versatile photography and everyday content creation. Built on OPPO’s imaging platform and Hasselblad collaboration, it supports a wide range of shooting scenarios including portraits, landscapes, and travel photography. Xiaomi 17T

The Xiaomi 17T is expected to debut globally in May and could soon arrive in India. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat display and may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset.

It is likely to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. For photography, the device may include a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor (1/1.55-inch), a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera (1/2.76-inch) with Leica branding. On the front, it is expected to feature a 32MP selfie camera.

The Xiaomi 17T could be available in All Black, Deep Violet, and Deep Blue colour options.

It is tipped to launch in two variants that are 12GB + 256GB priced at €749 (around ₹74,999) and 12GB + 512GB priced at €949 (around ₹84,999).

OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite

 OnePlus will launch the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite in India on May 7 at 12 PM. The Nord CE 6 will go on sale from May 8, while the Lite version will be available starting May 12 via Amazon India, OnePlus online store, and retail outlets.

The Nord CE 6 will be available in Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black colours, while the Lite variant will come in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black shades. Both phones will feature a 50MP primary rear camera.

The Nord CE 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and pack a massive 8,000mAh battery. It will feature an AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will also offer IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings alongwith MIL-STD-810H certification. It will include dual stereo speakers, a 32MP selfie camera, and support 27W reverse charging.

The Nord CE 6 Lite, on the other hand, will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset and pack a 7,000mAh battery. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000.

Vivo X300 FE and Vivo X300 Ultra

Vivo X300 FE and Vivo X300 Ultra

Vivo will launch the Vivo X300 FE and Vivo X300 Ultra in India on May 6 at 12 PM IST.

The Vivo X300 FE will be available in Lilac Purple, Noir Black, and Urban Olive colours. It features a slim 7.99mm profile and weighs 191g. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It will include a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

For cameras, the X300 FE will feature a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it will include a 50MP Zeiss-tuned camera.

Additional features include Zeiss portrait modes, adaptive zoom flash, and street photography mode. It will also support the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 accessory and include AI imaging tools along with OriginOS features.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will come in Eclipse Black and Victory Green finishes with a camera-inspired design. It will feature a Zeiss Master Lenses system including a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 200MP main sensor and a 200MP telephoto lens with advanced stabilisation.

The device will support external telephoto lenses with 200mm and 400mm focal lengths and a Photographer Kit that includes an imaging grip with a 2300mAh battery and accessories. It will support 4K video at 120fps with Dolby Vision, 10-bit log recording, and advanced video tools.

The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and pack a 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. It will also include vapour chamber cooling and offer five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates.

Moto Razr 70 and Moto Razr 70 Ultra

Moto Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra

Motorola is expected to launch the Moto Razr 70 and Moto Razr 70 Ultra as part of its next-generation clamshell foldable lineup. Both devices are set to debut globally around April 29 and are likely to arrive in India this May.

The Moto Razr 70 Ultra is tipped to feature a premium design similar to its predecessor with new colour options such as Orient Blue Alcantara and Pantone Cocoa Wood. In terms of specifications, it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and pack a 5,000mAh battery. The device may include a dual 50MP rear camera setup, a 4-inch cover display, and a large 7-inch inner display alongwith a 50MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the Moto Razr 70 is expected to offer a slightly more affordable foldable experience. It is said to come in Pantone Bright White, Pantone Sporting Green, Pantone Hematite, and Pantone Violet Ice colour options. The smartphone could feature a dual 50MP camera setup, a 4,800mAh battery, a 6.9-inch inner display, and a 3.63-inch cover screen.

It is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chipset positioning it as a mid-range foldable option.

Other Expected Phones in May 2026

Apart from the major launches, several other smartphones are expected to debut in India this month.  These include the iQOO Z11 Lite, Realme P4R and possibly another Realme P or Narzo series device.

HMD is also expected to launch the HMD Crest 2 and HMD Crest 2 Pro, while Infinix may introduce the Infinix GT 50 Pro.
