Who says you need to spend big to enjoy some of the best action games? Whether you’re into battle royales, high-speed shooters, or sci-fi adventures, some games deliver thrilling combat and endless replayability and the best part is they’re completely free!

Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus free games for April 2025, and leading the lineup is RoboCop: Rogue City, a cyberpunk shooter based on the legendary film franchise. Alongside it, players can also dive into the survival-horror multiplayer game The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Bandai Namco’s RPG Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory.
All three titles will be available from April 1 to May 5 for PS Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium members. As long as you have an active subscription, you can add these games to your library and keep playing them.
If you haven’t grabbed March’s PS Plus games yet – Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection – you have until March 31 to claim them.

RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5) – Developed by Teyon, this first-person shooter puts players in the role of RoboCop, the half-man, half-machine cop taking on criminals in Detroit’s crime-infested streets.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5) – This is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival-horror game inspired by the 1974 film. Players can either try to survive as victims or hunt them down as members of the infamous Slaughter family, including Leatherface. The game features five maps, two of which are directly taken from the original film, and offers day and night variations for different challenges.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4) – This RPG follows Keisuke Amazawa, a Digimon trainer navigating the futuristic Shibuya, Japan. After getting his Cyberspace account stolen, Keisuke teams up with hackers to track down the culprit, battling enemies with up to three Digimon companions at a time.
These games will be available to PS Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium members from April 1 to May 5. If you’re a subscriber, don’t forget to add them to your library and start playing!
