Three Edge Series smartphones from Motorola will go on sale in India on September 8; see full details

Three smartphones from Motorola will be released on September 8 in India. According to the company, the upcoming phones will be from the Motorola Edge series. The Edge 2022, the newest smartphone from Motorola, was just released in the US and Canada. It is the first phone to debut with MediaTek’s new Dimensity 1050 SoC under the hood and was priced at $499.99 (roughly Rs. 40,000), moving the device into the premium segment as opposed to its predecessor, which was a mid-range device.

Three new smartphones from the Edge series will soon be released in India, the company teased on its official social media channels. The teaser does not give away which models will be unveiled or any other information regarding the upcoming smartphones, but it does give away the launch date, which is September 8.

Numerous devices, including the recently released Moto X30 Pro and the Moto S30 Pro, both of which were recently unveiled in China alongside the new Moto Razr 2022, could make their way to India.

Although the Motorola Razr 2022 is only available in China right now, the Lenovo-owned smartphone company may introduce the Moto X30 Pro and the Moto S30 Pro to India after rebranding the line as the Edge series, as it has done in the past.

The Moto X30 Pro and Moto S30 Pro’s cost is as follows

The Motorola X30 Pro’s entry-level 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs CNY 3,699, or about Rs. 43,600.Motorola has not released information about the cost or availability in other areas.

The Motorola Moto X30 Pro’s characteristics

The Motorola Moto X30 Pro features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 6.73-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with thin bezels on all sides. RAM can reach a maximum of 12GB, and storage can reach 512GB. Additionally, Motorola asserts that the X30 Pro is the first smartphone in the world to offer a 200-megapixel primary sensor. A 12-megapixel telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera make up the other two sensors. A 60-megapixel camera is responsible for taking selfies.

Specifications for the Motorola Moto S30 Pro

Another high-end smartphone, the Motorola Moto S30 Pro, features a 6.55-inch 53-degree curved OLED full-HD+ resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+. The phone comes with 512GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM. The triple rear camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera that also functions as a macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is used for selfies.
