Tecno Spark 8C budget smartphone launched: Know price, specs and more

Expanding its Spark 8 series, Tecno today launched a new budget smartphone called Tecno Spark 8C in India. The smartphone comes with 6.6-inch HD+ rich display, massive 5,000mAh battery and 13MP AI dual rear camera as its main highlights.

Price

Priced at Rs 7,499, the all-new Tecno device comes in Magnet Black, Iris Purple, Diamond Grey and Turquoise Cyan colour variants. It’ll be available for purchase on Amazon as Amazon Specials starting February 24.

Specifications

The Tecno Spark 8C sports an ultra-efficient octa-core processor with AnTuTu score of 144753. Powered by HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11, the smartphone comes equipped with 6GB of RAM 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via micrSD card.

The smartphone comes with Superboost for system optimization to enjoy lag free experience for long use. With an 89.3% screen to body ratio and 269PPI Pixel Density, the 6.6-inch HD+ display of Tecno Spark 8C gives users a premium display experience. Besides, the smartphone packs in various smart features such as IPX2 splash resistant.

In terms of optics, Tecno Spark 8C’s 13MP AI rear camera with F1.8 wide aperture, Samsung image sensor and brilliant image processing technology enables you to click clear and vivid photos every time. Different modes like AI Beauty 3.0, Portrait Mode, Wide Selfie, HDR, Filters etc. add more flavours to your photos. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with flashlight for taking selfies and making video calls. The phone also features 1080P Time lapse video and Slow Motion video.

The smartphone comes packed with a mammoth 5,000mAh battery, which claims to offer a standby time of up to 89 days and talk time up to 53 hours, and music playtime up to 137 hours. Besides, the battery has features like Ultra Power Saving, Sleep Mode Optimization, etc., which provide a longer battery backup with need-based intelligent optimizations.
