Tecno Spark 50 5G has been officially launched in India, offering a large battery, high refresh rate display, and 5G connectivity at a competitive price point. This is the second 5G Spark-branded phone from the company, after the Tecno Spark Go. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched smartphone.
The official Sale for Tecno Spark 50 5G begins on 3 April 2026 at 12PM on Amazon India and other retail stores in India. The smartphone comes in two memory variants and the variant-wise pricing is as follows –
The device is available in four colour options, which includes Ink Black, Champagne Gold, Fantasy Purple and Mint Green.
The Tecno Spark 50 5G sports a large 6.78-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1576 pixels. It uses an IPS panel and offers a 120Hz refresh rate along with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring smoother scrolling and responsiveness. The screen supports up to 560 nits of brightness and has a pixel density of 256 PPI.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, built on a 6nm process. It features an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.5GHz and is paired with a Mali-G57 GPU for graphics performance.
The smartphone offers up to 6GB of physical RAM, which can be virtually expanded up to 18GB (6GB + 12GB). The base variant supports up to 12GB total RAM (4GB + 8GB). It comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
For photography, the Tecno Spark 50 5G is equipped with a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.85 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash. On the front, it features an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone packs a massive 6500mAh battery, which should easily last more than a full day on a single charge. It supports 45W fast charging, helping users quickly top up the battery when needed.
The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, OTG, and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. It supports multiple 5G bands including n1, n3, n5, n8, n28B, n38, n40, n41, n48, n77, and n78. For sensors, the smartphone includes an ambient light sensor, a distance sensor, an e-compass and soft gyro support.
In terms of design, the phone measures 167.9mm in height, 79.3mm in width, and 8.18mm in thickness, weighing 210 grams. It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
