Tecno Mobile expanded its AIoT portfolio at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona. The brand unveiled Tecno Megapad 2 tablet, Tecno Watch GT 1S smartwatch and Tecno FreeHear 2 open-ear earbuds.

The company has not yet disclosed pricing for the new devices.

Tecno says the Megapad 2, Watch GT 1S, and FreeHear 2 will roll out in select global markets between the first and second quarters of 2026. Regional pricing and complete specifications will be announced closer to their respective launch dates.

All three newly launched devices join the recently introduced Tecno Camon 50 Series and are a part of the brand’s growing ecosystem powered by its OneLeap interconnection platform.

The Tecno Megapad 2 is positioned as a mid-range tablet built for entertainment, learning, and shared household usage. It sports an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and TÜV Low Blue Light certification for eye comfort. The tablet runs HiOS and integrates several AI-driven tools aimed at improving productivity. The device features a slim 6.6mm profile, enhancing portability.

Among its AI capabilities is AI Problem Solving, designed to help students with homework and study-related tasks. AI Translation supports real-time translation in up to 140 languages across images, calls, meetings, and videos. The tablet also includes AI-powered document summarisation and writing enhancement features.

Through Tecno’s OneLeap ecosystem, the Megapad 2 enables seamless file sharing and screen extension when paired with compatible Tecno smartphones or PCs.

Tecno Watch GT 1S

The Tecno Watch GT 1S smartwatch comes equipped with dual-band L1 and L5 GPS, allowing accurate positioning in both dense urban settings and remote areas. Health tracking features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, stress tracking, and sleep analysis.

The smartwatch also supports AI-generated watch faces, which can be customised using image-to-image or text-to-image inputs.

Tecno claims the Watch GT 1S delivers up to 15 days of battery life on a single charge and offers 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for workouts and outdoor activities.

The Tecno FreeHear 2 features an open-ear design with a C-bridge clip structure made from TPU material, aimed at ensuring a secure fit while keeping users aware of their surroundings.

Audio is powered by a 10.8mm dual-magnetic circuit dynamic driver paired with a composite diaphragm, along with support for spatial surround sound. The earbuds also incorporate a dual pressure-relief acoustic structure to reduce sound leakage.

For voice calls, the FreeHear 2 uses AI-powered quad-microphone noise cancellation, wind-resistant microphones and DNN noise reduction algorithms. Tecno states that call clarity is maintained even in winds of up to 5m/s.

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 with a wireless range of up to 10 meters. They allow quick pairing and seamless switching between smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Users can activate their phone’s voice assistant by triple-tapping the right earbud.

Sound customisation options include Bass, Treble, Vocal Boost and personalised EQ adjustments.

Tecno claims up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 46 hours of total battery life with the charging case. A quick five-minute charge is said to provide up to 90 minutes of playback. Each earbud houses a 60mAh battery, while the case packs a 600mAh battery and supports USB Type-C charging.

The FreeHear 2 earbuds carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Each earbud measures 27.4mm x 26.5mm x 22mm and weighs 5.4g. The charging case measures 64mm x 53.4mm x 28mm and weighs 40.7g, bringing the total combined weight to 51.7g.

The earbuds are available in a Black colour option.
