Tecno is preparing to launch its Camon 40 series and recent certifications suggest the release is just around the corner. While the brand hasn’t officially announced the launch date, the Camon 40 Premier was certified in the US and the Camon 40 4G received certification in Thailand.
Here’s everything we know about both models so far.

Listed on the FCC database with the model number CM8, the device is confirmed to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The certification also reveals support for 5G NR, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. It comes with a 70W fast charging adapter (model U700TSA) and showcases a striking design with a large circular camera module on the back. It will measure 164 x 74 x 8mm. The design schematics also show an extra button alongside the volume and power buttons, hinting at a possible new feature or functionality.
The Camon 40 4G certified in Thailand’s NBTC database carries the model number CM6. However, no specific features or specs were revealed in the certification.
