Vivo has started the sale of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V70 FE, in India starting today i.e. April 9, 2026. The smartphone was launched last week and was available for pre-orders until now. It joins the existing Vivo V70 series that already includes the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite models. Here are more details.
The Vivo V70 FE is available in two colour options named Northern Lights Purple and Monsoon Blue. The pricing starts at ₹37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, ₹40,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model and goes up to ₹44,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
The smartphone is available for purchase via Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retail stores across India.
The Vivo V70 FE features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification and offers up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. The device runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and includes the Origin Island feature around the front camera. Vivo is also promising up to six years of security updates.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the Vivo V70 FE is equipped with a 200MP primary camera featuring a 1/1.56-inch sensor, f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and Aura Light support. On the front, the device houses a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Camera features include AI Magic Weather, AI Magic Landscape, AI Four-Season Portrait and AI-powered 30x super zoom.
The device also features symmetrical dual speakers with Gaming HyperSense Audio. One of the highlights is Vivo’s Darkness Glow Technology that allows the back panel to glow softly in low light after exposure to sunlight or UV light. The smartphone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and even supports underwater photography.
The Vivo V70 FE packs a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and bypass charging. Vivo claims the device can charge from 1% to 100% in 60 minutes and still retain up to 14% battery after 16 hours of intensive usage.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC and a USB Type-C port. For security, the phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone measures 163.7 × 76.2 × 7.59mm and weighs around 200 grams.
