Redmi 10 Prime, Redmi TWS launching today

Xiaomi is all set to launch two new Redmi-branded devices in India today – Redmi 10 Prime and a new pair of Redmi TWS. The Redmi 10 Prime will be a new affordable smartphone from the company and some of its features have been confirmed, while others have been leaked. The phone is tipped to be a rebranded variant of the Redmi 10 which was launched in the global markets recently. The company has not revealed too many details about its new truly wireless earphones but, they are also expected to be an affordable offering from Xiaomi. Both the Redmi products will get unveiled during an online event which is scheduled for 12 noon. It will be streamed live on Xiaomi’s official website and social media channels.

Realme 8i, Realme 8s 5G India launch date confirmed

Realme has announced the launch date for the new Realme 8i and Realme 8s on September 9 at 12:30 PM. The launch event will be streamed live on Realme’s social media platforms, Facebook and YouTube. The Chinese smartphone company sent media invites that confirm both devices will be powered by MediaTek chipsets. While the Realme 8s will be the world’s first smartphone with the Dimensity 810 processor, the Realme 8i will use the Helio G96 processor. These phones will likely mark the end of the Realme 8 series that the company introduced earlier this year with two phones.

Xiaomi 11T series renders reveal updated design, color variants

Xiaomi is reportedly going to hold a launch event on September 15, and it is likely to see the arrival of the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro. Now, ahead of launch, a Vietnamese YouTuber had shared the mockup renders of the 11T series. These renders show that both phones will look exactly the same and will come in the same color options. From the renders, we can see that the design of the camera module is slightly updated from the Mi 11 and Mi 11X handsets.

Telegram rolls out a live stream feature

In its latest version 8.0 update, messaging platform Telegram has rolled out live streams with unlimited viewers to groups and channels. The update also has enabled options to remove captions from media and hide sender names when forwarding, easy switch to unread channel without going back to chat list, an improved sticker panel along with new animated emoji. Users must make sure they are using the updated version of the app to enjoy all-new features. Recently, the Telegram app has crossed 1 billion downloads globally.

Google Assistant’s new ‘Quick Phrases’ will let you drop ‘Ok, Google’

One of the annoying things about using voice assistants is the need to get their attention by using hot words like ‘Alexa’ or ‘Ok, Google’. Now, you may soon no longer need to use ‘Ok, Google’ to get the assistant to perform certain task on your devices. According to a report, the AI voice assistant is set to get a new feature called ‘Quick Phrases’. The latter is tipped to make the assistant experience truly handsfree, where users will no longer be required to use the ‘OK Google’ phrase in order to use its service.
