Redmi Smart TV X43 launching in India on February 9

Redmi is all set to add a new TV to its X series portfolio, the Redmi Smart TV X43. Currently, the Redmi smart TV is available in 50, 55 and 65-inch screen sizes. The TV will launch on February 9, 2022 in India and there is no information about the price or availability of the TV. Redmi smart TV X43 will support a 4K resolution along with support for HDR 10 and Dolby Vision, similar to its larger siblings. The TV will come with support for Dolby Audio with 30W of sound output. The TV will run on the Android TV OS with Xiaomi’s own PatchWall UI overlaying it.

Xiaomi India unveils new app to help users book repairs

Xiaomi Service+, a one-stop app to address all service and support requirements of Xiaomi customers has been launched in India. Reinforcing Xiaomi’s long-standing commitment to providing seamless after-sales services, Xiaomi Service+ offers a range of support services such as device repair, price quotations, live chat assistance and others. Customers can avail all of them from the comfort of their homes with just a few clicks, it said in a statement.

Apple adds unlisted apps to its App Store

Apple will now allow developers to distribute unlisted apps through the App Store that only users with a direct link can access. While unlisted apps are not discoverable to the general public through App Store search results, categories, charts, or recommendations, they are available to administrators through Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. Apple makes it very clear that unlisting an app is not meant as a way to distribute pre-release versions.

Vivo Y75 5G launched in India

Vivo has unveiled the ‘Vivo Y75’ in India as the latest Y-series phone. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch FHD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging support. In addition, the smartphone features a triple camera sensors headlined by a 50MP primary camera and it supports 5G network connectivity as well. The Vivo Y75 5G price in India is set at Rs 21,990 for the single 8GB + 128GB storage variant and is launched in two colour options – Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black colours.
