Motorola’s Moto G51 has gone out on Flipkart. The device was launched in India on December 10 and it is the first handset with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 plus chipset in the country. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. On the camera front, Moto G51 5G features a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W rapid charging.
Meta has warned 50,000 users across its platform about being targeted and spied-on by surveillance for hire firms. The company took down 1,500 Instagram and Facebook pages linked to groups with services allegedly ranging from scooping up public information online to using fake personas to build trust with targets or digital snooping via hack attacks. Meta’s report also referenced the Israeli spyware company NSO Group that was sued by Apple and Meta last month for spying on their customers.

Vivo V23 Pro is tipped to be the first smartphone to unveil with a ‘Changeable Fluorite Glass’. It will be a colour-changing glass, which when exposed to sunlight will change the colour of the rear panel. Reportedly, the UV light will allow the rear glass to have a reaction that will make the panel switch colours. The company is scheduled to launch the Vivo V23 series in India early in January. It is expected to be a mid-premium range offering.
Google rolls out a new update for Chrome that fixes a number of vulnerabilities with the popular browser that is used by about 2.6 billion users across the world. In addition to this, users are advised to update their Google Chrome browsers immediately as it contains an emergency patch for a zero-hour vulnerability that might have been exploited by bad actors or attackers. The name of the four vulnerabilities fixed by Google in the latest update of Chrome is CVE-2021-4099, CVE-2021-4100, CVE-2021-4101 and CVE-2021-4102.
