The Amazon Great Republic Day sale 2022 is now live for prime members. The 4-day long sale ends on January 20, 2022 at 12 pm. Amazon’s first big sale of the year promises exciting discounts on top mobile phones, TVs, laptops, and other electronics. Other than deals and discounts, the sale is also seeing some big-ticket launches of the year 2022 going on sale. These include gadgets from Samsung, OnePlus, Sony and Jabra.

As per the report from The Verge, the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple will require retail and corporate employees to provide proof of a Covid 19 booster shot, citing an internal email. Starting January 24, unvaccinated employees or those who haven’t submitted proof of vaccination will need negative Covid 19 tests to enter Apple workplaces, the report said. The Verge said it was not immediately clear if the testing requirement applies to both corporate and retail employees. Apple hasn’t officially confirmed any details on the matter yet to the media.
OnePlus has unveiled OnePlus 9RT 5G smartphone and OnePlus Buds Z2 in India. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone, launched on January 14, 2022, has been priced at Rs 42,999 and Rs 46,999 for 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants respectively. Besides, the Buds Z2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds come with active noise cancellation support. Priced at Rs 4,999, they will also be available from January 17, 2022.
PUBG-maker Krafton filed a big lawsuit in the Central District Court of California on January 10, 2022. It is suing the developer of two mobile games that it accuses of copying PUBG: Battlegrounds. The PUBG game developer alleges that Garena Online’s Free Fire and Free Fire Max games copy several copyrighted aspects of PUBG: Battlegrounds, including its game structure, in-game items, equipment, and locations.
