Here’s what we know so far.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro, S27 Ultra Charging Speed Revealed

As revealed by tipster Anvin on X, two new Samsung smartphones with model numbers SM-S9570 and SM-S9580 have appeared in the database of China’s 3C certification platform. According to listings in the GSMA IMEI database, these devices are expected to launch as the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, respectively.
The 3C certification confirms that both smartphones will support 60W fast charging. However, following Samsung’s approach with its recent flagship phones, buyers should not expect a charger to be included in the retail boxes of either device.
The company’s flagship smartphones had been limited to 45W fast charging for several years. Samsung finally moved beyond that limit with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which introduced 60W fast charging.
Earlier this week, the Galaxy S27 (SM-S9520) and Galaxy S27 Plus (SM-S9650) were also spotted on China’s 3C certification platform. The standard Galaxy S27 was listed with support for 45W charging, while the Galaxy S27 Plus is expected to offer 27W charging.
The complete Galaxy S27 lineup is also expected to support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, giving users multiple options for charging their devices.
Galaxy S27 Series Could Launch in January 2027
Galaxy S27 series models have now appeared in China’s 3C database. This is considerably earlier than the Galaxy S26 series, which received its 3C certification in January 2026 before making its debut in March 2026. The early appearance of the Galaxy S27 lineup on the certification platform could indicate that Samsung is preparing for an earlier launch next year.
Based on the current certification timeline, the Galaxy S27 series could potentially be launched as early as January 2027.
