Samsung has released the Galaxy Book 4 Edge, a new laptop featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processor.

This device is now on sale in major markets worldwide, including the UK and USA.
The Galaxy Book 4 Edge comes in two sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch.
In the UK, the 14-inch model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage costs £1,399.
The 16-inch version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at £1,699.
US prices start at $1,349.99 for the 14-inch model and $1,749.99 for the 16-inch version.
The Galaxy Book 4 Edge boasts a touch-enabled QHD+ display, offering a fluid visual experience with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 500 nits of brightness, enhanced by HDR10+ compatibility.
It’s available in two sizes: the 14-inch model operates on a 3.4GHz Snapdragon X Elite processor, while the 16-inch variant comes equipped with a slightly faster 3.8GHz version.
Both models are designed with functionality in mind, featuring Windows 11 and integrating backlit keyboards for comfortable typing in low-light conditions.
The input and connectivity options are robust, with USB 4.0 Type-C ports that support Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone jack.
The 16-inch version stands out with the addition of a USB 3.2 Type-A port and a MicroSD slot for expanded storage.
The Snapdragon X Elite’s NPU opens the door to a world of offline AI capabilities.
This includes real-time transcription and translation during video conferences, adding a layer of convenience and productivity.
Furthermore, users can experiment with AI-generated images within the Paint and Photos applications.
Samsung has crafted an ecosystem-friendly device with the Galaxy Book 4 Edge, which plays nicely with other Galaxy products.
The Phone Link app facilitates effortless file exchange and phone control from the laptop, enabling users to multitask seamlessly.
It even allows for the phone’s screen to be mirrored and used for calls and messages on the larger display.
Sound management is a breeze with the laptop’s integration with Galaxy Buds, providing automatic audio switching between devices.
Additionally, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge can leverage a connected Galaxy phone as a high-quality webcam, and the Quick Share app streamlines file sharing across the Samsung ecosystem.
