Samsung India has confirmed the launch of a new variant of Galaxy S21 FE 5G in the country. The company has set up a dedicated microsite for the upcoming model.
A teaser image has shown that the phone will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The brand earlier launched the Snapdragon 888 chipset in select regions in early 2022. The phone came with Exynos 2100 in other countries such as India.
The 5nm processor coupled with Adreno 660 GPU should allow for better gaming performance. Other specs of the smartphone remain the same.

The brand has not revealed much but has confirmed the upcoming smartphone’s launch timeline, storage variant, and GPU.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 India Launch Confirmed
Samsung India has announced through a media release and on its official Twitter handle that the Galaxy S21 FE 5G with the Snapdragon 888 SoC is launching soon in India.
Notably, the chaebol launched the Galaxy S21 FE in India last year in January. The Indian variant was launched with the Exynos 2100, whereas in the US and several other markets, it launched with the faster Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The company is now bringing the US variant of the best-selling smartphone to India with 256GB of RAM.
Samsung has already put up a dedicated Notify Me page for the smartphone on its website, where interested buyers can sign up to get notified when the phone launches.
New colour, 256GB Base Storage
The brand has confirmed that the new Galaxy S21 FE will come with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage as the base variant.
The phone has been tipped to come in a Navy Blue colour option too. You should also expect 8GB LPDDR4X RAM similar to the Exynos variant.
A lower 128GB ROM is not expected to be available as an option.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 Price in India, Availability
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 variant will launch in India this month.
Speculations are rife that the brand might launch the smartphone towards the end of the month. The Exynos 2100 debuted in India with a starting price tag of Rs 54,999.
In contrast, according to the latest leak, the Snapdragon 888 variant will be priced at Rs 49,999 for the 256GB variant.
We can expect the brand to provide introductory offers like the Exynos 2100 variant, which was available at Rs 5,000 instant discount to HDFC Bank customers.
The smartphone will likely be available for purchase from Samsung E-store, Amazon India, and other retail partners once it launches.
Price Leaked ahead of Launch
In a note to offline retailers, Samsung mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with Snapdragon 888 will be priced at ₹49,999.
The price tag is slightly lesser than the Exynos variant which came out at ₹53,999 for the similar 256GB storage.
The South Korean smartphone maker has not shared a confirmed launch date yet but has listed the phone as “coming soon.”
We should know more about its availability details and launch offers in the coming days. Samsung is also bringing the Galaxy M34 to India on July 7.
