The much awaited smartphone, most likely dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S22, is set to debut in the most talked-about virtual world: the Metaverse. On February 9 at 10 a.m. ET, Samsung will unveil its nifty Android gadgets online, on its YouTube channel, on social media accounts, and in a virtual re-creation of its downtown New York City location called 837X. Hosted in Decentraland, Samsung 837X is a virtual place where users may not only watch a 2D Samsung Unpacked event but also explore the flagship New York City experience centre, collect NFTs, and go on quests. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer is likely to unveil three flagship S series models at its first Unpacked event of the year — the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22.
