Samsung’s AI capabilities are about to make a significant impact on the Galaxy Watch lineup.
The company has officially announced the introduction of Galaxy AI features for its smartwatches, set to debut with the upcoming One UI 6 Watch update.

The introduction of Galaxy AI to Galaxy Watch is just the beginning of this process and we’re excited to showcase even more integrations across our Galaxy portfolio very soon.
At its core are two new Galaxy AI features: Energy Score and Wellness Tips.
Samsung is using the power of AI combined with the Samsung Health platform to bring about these features and enrich the health and fitness experience.
Energy Score is a new feature that will allow users to understand their day-to-day condition better.
Drawing from personal health metrics such as average sleep time, sleep consistency, activity levels, heart rate variability, and sleep heart rate, this feature will be able to give users a score about the overall energy levels of their body.
Wellness Tips would help users get personalized insight, motivational guidance, and tips to achieve their fitness goals.
This feature is designed to help users stay on the right track and achieve their desired fitness goals more effectively.
Samsung is also putting AI to work in improving its present health algorithms and insights.
The company is bringing improvements in its sleep AI algorithm, offering users more in-depth insights regarding their sleep with new indicators of sleep movements, sleep latency, and heart and breathing rates during sleep.
This update is going to mean exciting upgrades for runners and cyclists.
Samsung adds new metrics: Aerobic Threshold, or AT, and Anaerobic Threshold, or AnT, Heart Rate Zone metrics to the existing five running intensity levels.
This is going to provide athletes with even better insights into their performance and training zones.
The particular addition of the new Functional Threshold Power metric, which can be calculated within just 10 minutes, will be a real advantage for cyclists by streamlining the process of tracking and monitoring their cycling performance.
Moreover, Samsung is adding a feature called Workout Routine, where users can string together a number of exercises for different goals

The features will be rolled out alongside the One UI 6 Watch update, and some Galaxy Watch users will have the opportunity to get early access to these features during the June beta testing phase.
