Reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal shared the latest details on X (formerly Twitter). According to his post, here are details of storage and colour variants of all models of the S25 Series –
While the leak doesn’t confirm RAM capacities, earlier rumours suggest the base models in the lineup will feature 12GB of RAM upgraded from last year’s 8GB with a possibility of a 16GB variant for the Ultra model.
In the same post, tipster Ishan Agarwal also revealed the timeline of sale and delivery dates in India.
Deliveries in the Indian market are expected to start from February 3rd 2025 after the announcement and pre-order phase. The official sale is likely to begin on February 9th 2025 ensuring an early February release for Indian consumers.
Meanwhile, tipster Evan Blass on Substack has shared some images that Samsung is expected to use for the launch event. The two images show all three models of the series with Galaxy S25 Ultra getting its own separate marketing image.
One interesting thing the images reveal about the camera module is that the outer part of the camera rings matches the colour of the back panel of the phone in all three models.
The marketing image also reveals that the frame and the screen are flat while the bezels are evidently thinner than last year. We can also confirm from these leaked images that the Ultra model will have rounded corners. There is also a glimpse of the Now Bar in One UI 7.
Moreover, both leaked promotional images mention Galaxy AI, which tells us where the focus of the launch is going to be.
Earlier rumours based on retailer listings in Europe showing unusual price points hinted at a price increase for the Galaxy S25 series. Now, a report from South Korea has seemingly confirmed the price hike.
Samsung initially planned to go with the pricing of last year but due to increasing component costs and exchange rates had to change the pricing strategy. The global use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset has contributed to higher production costs.
The latest report suggests that a small price increase has been confirmed for the South Korean market. However, it’s currently unclear if this will apply globally.
Meanwhile, Samsung is reportedly hoping that those consumers who find the flagship series too expensive will opt for more affordable Samsung alternatives such as the A series or the recently launched Galaxy S24 FE.
