The US variants of the Galaxy S25 series have been listed with the following model numbers:

  • Galaxy S25: SM-931U
  • Galaxy S25+: SM-936U
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra: SM-938U

All three models will support 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. The S25+ and S25 Ultra will also feature ultrawide band (UWB), which the base model lacks.

The FCC listings confirm the charging specifications for each model:

  • The Galaxy S25 is tested with a travel adapter (model EP-TA800) indicating 25W charging support similar to its predecessor.
  • The Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra are paired with a travel adapter (model EP-T2510) supporting 45W wired fast charging.
  • The Galaxy S25 Ultra will include an S Pen with the model number EJ-PS938 manufactured by Wacom.

Moreover, the FCC reveals that the vanilla Galaxy S25 will support 9W wireless charging, a drop from the 15W wireless charging offered by its predecessor. If confirmed, this would mark a surprising downgrade.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to debut in January keeping up with the brand’s usual release traditional timeline for its flagship lineup. With the devices already appearing on multiple certification sites, more details are likely to surface soon.

Samsung fans can look forward to upgrades in connectivity, charging, and overall performance, particularly in the S25 Ultra.
