Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Latest Teaser Video

Samsung is getting ready to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge next week and Samsung Italy has dropped a teaser video to build the hype. As expected, the teaser mainly highlights just how slim this phone is. The video features a fast-paced sequence of items getting slimmer and slimmer, with the S25 Edge itself showing up briefly at the 10-second mark.

According to leaks, the S25 Edge will be just 5.85mm thick, making it the thinnest Samsung phone ever. It’s expected to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite for Galaxy chip, a 200MP main camera and a 3,900mAh battery.

S25 Edge To Feature Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2

Meanwhile, the Korean brand has finally confirmed what was previously being speculated about the display protection feature of the Galaxy S25 Edge.

It was previously hinted that S25 Edge would debut Corning’s new Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and now Samsung has officially confirmed it in joint a teaser campaign. This marks the first time we’re seeing this glass in action.

According to Samsung, the display combines “Corning’s advanced glass technology with Samsung’s proprietary processing and reinforcement technologies”, which results in “a sleek yet strong design.”

Corning adds that Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 features crystals “intricately embedded within its glass matrix, enhancing the durability and crack deflection capabilities of the display cover”. The ion-exchange process helps the material become tougher while still looking crystal clear.

Kwangjin Bae, EVP and Head of the Mechanical R&D Team of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said, “Galaxy S25 Edge will set a new standard for craftsmanship and performance as our slimmest Galaxy S series device yet. To support this breakthrough design, it was essential to develop a display material that was both exceptionally thin and reliably strong — a challenge that brought Corning and Samsung together, united by a shared vision for purposeful engineering and user-centric innovation. That vision is embedded in every detail of Galaxy S25 Edge.”

To add on, Andrew Beck, Vice President and General Manager, Corning Gorilla Glass, said, “With Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, we’ve achieved a remarkable combination of thinness and strength, giving consumers the best of both worlds — exceptional durability in a modern, sleek and premium design. The craftsmanship of Galaxy S25 Edge with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 underscores Corning and Samsung’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of consumers worldwide.”

“All-Day Battery” Claimed in Leaked Marketing Materials

The Galaxy S25 Edge is special for being a super-slim phone. And while reports suggest it packs only a 3,900mAh battery to maintain the slim profile, Samsung’s leaked marketing claims it will offer “all-day battery” life.

This claim comes from leaked images shared by Android Headlines. However, the claim comes with a small disclaimer, which makes us take the information with a grain of salt.

The disclaimer reads, “Actual battery life varies by network environment, feature and apps used, frequency of calls and messages, the number of times charged, and many other factors. Estimated against the average usage profile compiled by UX Connect Research. Independently assessed by UX Connect Research between 2025.03.12-2025.03.20 in US with pre-release versions of SM-5937 under default setting using LTE and 5G Sub6 networks. Not tested under 5G mmWave network.”

Interestingly, the S25 Edge has a smaller battery than the base Galaxy S25, despite having a larger and sharper display. It’ll be interesting to see how real-world performance measures up.
