Launched in India last week, South Korean tech giant Samsung is all set to start the sale of its Galaxy A73, the latest addition under its popular A series phones. Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Samsung Galaxy A23, and the Galaxy A13 are other popular models of the Samsung’s A series phones. The sale of Galaxy A73 will begin at 6 pm on April 8.
Galaxy A73, successor of Galaxy A72 is priced Rs41,999 for its base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The top variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage is available at a price of Rs 44,999. Both these models will be available for purchase from 6pm today on the company’s official website with some exclusive launch offers.
Galaxy A73 5G is available in three colour options — Awesome Grey, Awesome Mint, and Awesome White.
There is an instant cashback of Rs 3,000 for customers pre-booking the phone via via Samsung Finance+, ICICI Bank cards, and SBI credit cards. Besides, customers who pre-booked the Galaxy A 73 will also be able to buy a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds Live true wireless earbuds at Rs 499. The earbuds is actually priced Rs 6,990.
Featuring 16.95cm (6.7″) FHD+ sAMOLED+ 120Hz display,108MP high resolution camera, snapdragon 778G 5G, 6nm Octa-core, Samsung Galaxy A73 5G offers a 120hz screen refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
The phone is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging support. It is worth mentioning here that charger needs to be bought separately. Samsung is not offering charger with its Galaxy A73 5G.
On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G includes a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 108-megapixel primary camera sensor coupled with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and two 5-megapixel depth and macro sensors. On the front, the phone includes a 32-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls.
On the software front, the Samsung phone runs on Android 12-based One UI 4.1. The South Korean smartphone maker promises to offer four years of Android operating system updates and five years of security updates.
