Samsung has officially started the sale of Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 in India today i.e April 10, 2026. After being available for pre-orders via Samsung’s official website, Samsung Shop app, Amazon India and Flipkart, both devices can now be purchased through online and offline retail channels across the country.
The two smartphones were launched globally including in India last month. Pre-orders began shortly after launch but Samsung had not confirmed the regular sale date until now.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 starts at Rs. 41,999, while the Galaxy A57 is priced from Rs. 56,999. The detailed pricing is as follows –
Customers purchasing the devices using Axis, HDFC, ICICI, and SBI bank credit cards can avail an instant discount of Rs. 3,000. Additionally, Samsung is offering an upgrade bonus of up to Rs. 5,000, cashback of Rs. 3,000 via bank or UPI transactions and a 24-month no-cost EMI option with an additional upgrade bonus of Rs. 3,000.
A recent tipster report also suggested that additional discounts of up to Rs. 5,000 may be introduced, although these offers have not yet gone live.
In terms of design and display, both smartphones are largely similar featuring identical screen specifications. However, the Galaxy A57 is slimmer at 6.9mm, compared to 7.4mm on the Galaxy A37.
Colour options also differ between the two models. The Galaxy A57 is available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Icyblue and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal and Awesome Graygreen.
Performance is where the biggest difference lies. The Galaxy A57 is powered by the newer Exynos 1680 chipset with Xclipse 550 GPU and delivers better performance compared to the Galaxy A37’s Exynos 1480 processor.
Apart from the ultra-wide camera difference of 12MP on the A57 and 8MP on the A37, most other features remain similar including battery capacity, charging speed and software experience.
For photography, both smartphones feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. They come with a 12-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The phones are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery each and support Super Fast Charging 2.0, which is claimed to charge up to 60 percent in around 30 minutes. They also come with IP68-rated dust and water resistance and Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced security.
On the software side, both devices run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box and are promised to receive six generations of OS updates along with long-term security support. They also include AI-powered tools such as Samsung Bixby, Gemini and Perplexity.
