The Galaxy A37 was spotted with the model number SM-A376U, which clearly points to the device’s identity. The “U” suffix indicates that this particular version is the US variant, and early test builds reference several major American carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and UScellular.
Although no hardware specifications have been revealed yet, the appearance on Samsung’s servers strongly suggests that the phone is entering the final stages of development. The predecessor Galaxy A36 was launched in March 2025 and based on that timeline, we can assume that its successor could launch at a similar time next year.
Speaking of the predecessor, we can take a look at the key specs of Galaxy S36 to have a fair idea of what to expect from the next-in-line phone.

The A36 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, running One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung also committed to six years of software and security updates. It is a policy expected to continue with the Galaxy A37, ensuring long-term support until around 2031.
The Galaxy A36 housed a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 5MP macro camera, along with a 12MP front shooter for selfies. Powering the device was a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, offering strong endurance for its segment.
