Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy A26 5G in India expanding its A-series lineup with a budget-friendly 5G option. The phone starts at ₹24,999 and features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It has an Infinity-U notch that houses a 13MP front camera. Here are more details about the phone.

Samsung Galaxy A26 5G – Hardware and Battery
Under the hood, the Galaxy A26 5G is powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, the same chip used in the Galaxy A35 (2023). It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support. Despite housing a large battery, it remains relatively slim at 7.7mm thick and weighs 200 grams.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera. It runs One UI 7 based on Android 15 and promises six years of security updates, a rare offering in this price range. Samsung’s AI-powered features like Circle to Search and Object Eraser are also included.
The Galaxy A26 5G comes with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and NFC support for contactless payments.
The 8GB+128GB variant of Samsung Galaxy A26 5G is priced at ₹24,999, while the 8GB+256GB version costs ₹27,999. The phone is available in Awesome Black, Mint, White and Peach colour options.
It can be purchased through Flipkart, Samsung’s official website and offline stores. Launch offers include an instant ₹2,000 discount for HDFC and SBI credit card users.
