Samsung has announced a new AI-powered feature called Gemini Live, and it’s coming to the Galaxy S25 series starting April 7. This update lets users have real-time, visual conversations with AI completely free for all S25 series owners.

Gemini Live works in over 45 languages and supports real-time conversations using your phone’s camera or screen.

With Gemini Live, Galaxy users can interact with AI more naturally to make daily tasks a little easier. Just press and hold the side button to show Gemini Live what you’re looking at through your camera, and talk to it in real time, just like you would with a friend.

Need help picking an outfit or organising your closet? Just point your phone at it. Gemini Live can suggest how to sort things or make better use of your space.

You can also share your screen while shopping online to get personalised style tips. Since the AI can “see” what you see and respond instantly, it feels like having a smart, helpful companion with you at all times.

Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, shared, “Together with Google, we are marking a bold step toward the future of mobile AI, delivering smarter interactions that are deeply in sync with how we live, work and communicate. With this new visual capability, Galaxy S25 series brings next-generation AI experiences to life, setting new standards for how users engage with the world through their devices.”

Gemini Live, including its camera and screen-sharing features, will begin rolling out to all Galaxy S25 users from April 7 at no extra cost.
