Samsung announces availability of Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G from April

South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced availability of the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G. According to the latest update, Galaxy A53 5G will be available in select markets beginning April 1 and the Galaxy A33 5G will be available beginning April 22.

The Company has also announced that another new addition to the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A73 5G, will also be available in select markets on April 22.

Beautiful, durable, purposeful design

For an enhanced durability and peace of mind, Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G feature the tough Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 and IP676 water and dust resistance.

Specifications

Galaxy A33 5G will feature 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED90Hz Infinity-U Display while Galaxy A53 5G will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz Infinity-O Display. The upcoming phone will be powered by a brand-new processor.

Coupled with Galaxy’s signature AI camera, expansive and smooth display, the new Galaxy A series is now equipped with up to two-day battery life and 25W super-fast Charging — so viewing, streaming and more can last longer.

Defense-grade security, an eco-conscious, stylish and slim design and advanced connected experiences are other features of the new Galaxy A series. As name suggests, the phone has 5G connectivity.

To ensure an awesome user mobile experience, both devices support continuous One UI and Android OS upgrades and security updates.

According to said TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ MX (Mobile eXperience) Business, Samsung is making it easier than ever to enjoy Galaxy’s advanced, innovative mobile experience at a great value with the release of the latest Galaxy A series.

Five years of security update

Samsung also confirms that both devices guarantee up to four generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates. It enables users to get the latest software and security to maximize the smartphone lifecycle.

Capture an awesome shot in any situation

Featuring a 64MP OIS Camera with VDIS technology, Galaxy A53 5G’s quad-camera sports a 64MP OIS Camera with VDIS technology for crisp and steady shots every time. A high-resolution 32MP front camera is like an icing on the cake for great selfies and clear video call experiences.

The improved Night mode allows you to take awesome pictures even in low lighting. The Galaxy A series’ framerate is automatically adjusted to create bright, clear videos while shooting video in low-light environments.

The enhanced Portrait mode captures depth and subject outlines more accurately with dual cameras and powerful AI. To amplify your fun moments, you can use playful filters and effects that now work with the Ultra-wide lens. Plus, Photo Remaster breathes new life into old and low quality photos, and Object eraser removes pesky photo bombers in the background.

New colour of Galaxy Buds2

To complement the stylish design of the Galaxy A series, Samsung has also announced to launch a new Onyx color of the Galaxy Buds2 and Buds Live in April.
