Xiaomi has just launched its incredibly budget-friendly smartwatch named the Redmi Watch Move in India. Priced at ₹1,999, it’s the first smartwatch from Xiaomi to be manufactured locally in India. Here’s everything we know about the wearable.

The Redmi Watch Move is priced at ₹1,999 and will be available for pre-order starting April 24 at 12 PM on mi.com and Flipkart.

You can choose from four colour options, which inludes Silver Sprint, Black Drift, Blue Blaze and Gold Rush.

Redmi Watch Move – Design and Display

The Redmi Watch Move has a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, a resolution of 390 × 450 and 600 nits peak brightness. It also supports Always-On Display (AOD) and offers a 74% screen-to-body ratio, making it look modern and sharp.

The design is similar to last year’s Redmi Watch 5 Active and Watch 5 Lite. The watch also comes with antibacterial, skin-friendly straps and a quick-release mechanism for easy strap changes. It features a functional crown that lets you tap, scroll, or long-press to use features like AI Q&A, power off, and force restart.

With an IP68 rating, the watch is water-resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and fully protected against dust, so it can handle splashes and workouts with ease.

Redmi Watch Move – Customisable and India-Focused

You can personalise the Redmi Watch Move with five editable layouts and over 200 watch faces through the Mi Fitness app. Some designs even draw inspiration from Indian culture, with Hindi language support and festive themes built in.

Redmi Watch Move – Battery And Fitness Features

Xiaomi promises up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. If you’re in a rush, just 10 minutes of charging gives you 2 days of usage. With Always-On Display turned on, the battery still lasts up to 5 days.

The watch offers 97% accuracy in health tracking and supports Sleep monitoring, all-day heart rate tracking, SpO₂ (blood oxygen) monitoring, Stress tracking, Female health tracking and guided breathing exercises.

For fitness enthusiasts, it supports 140+ workout modes and can auto-detect 7 activities including outdoor running, treadmill, walking, cycling, rowing machine, elliptical, and jump rope.
