According to Weibo tipster Panda is Bald, the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 series smartphones are expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipsets. The standard Redmi Turbo 5 is tipped to feature the Dimensity 8500 SoC, while the higher-end Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is said to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500e processor.

As of now, MediaTek has not officially announced either of these chipsets so far.

Both the Dimensity 8500 and Dimensity 9500e are expected to be unveiled in early 2026 and the Redmi Turbo 5 lineup could be among the first smartphones to use these next-generation processors.
