A few months after launching the Redmi Turbo 3, it was widely reported that Xiaomi already started developing the Redmi Turbo 4.
The new device is expected to be rebranded as the POCO F7, meaning both phones will share the same specifications.
The Redmi Turbo 4 is scheduled for an official release in the second quarter of 2025, which is still 8-9 months away.
Recently, XiaomiTime spotted the POCO F7 and now Gizmochina has discovered the Redmi Turbo 4 listed in the IMEI database.
According to the recent report by Gizmochina, the Redmi Turbo 4 will carry the model number “2412DRT0AC.”
The final letter “C” indicates that this model will be exclusive to the Chinese market.
However, the Redmi Turbo 4 will be available globally under the name POCO F7, with the series set for an official launch in May 2025.
The POCO F7 will have two model numbers: “2412DPC0AG” and “2412DPC0AI.”
The “G” in the first model number signifies that it will be the global version, while the “I” in the second model number indicates it will be sold in the Indian market.
Earlier, XiaomiTime reported that the POCO F7 Pro was also spotted in the IMEI database with the model number “24122RKC7G,” where the “G” suggests it will be a global model.
Another screenshot shared in the previous Gizmochina report indicates that POCO F7 could also launch as Redmi K80 in the Chinese market.
Both Redmi Turbo 4 in China and its rebranded version POCO F7 in the global market are still several months away from their official launch dates.
The Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to be released in April 2025, with the POCO F7 following in May 2025.
This timeline is likely because the POCO F6 and Redmi Turbo 3 were only launched recently.
These upcoming smartphones are anticipated to feature the latest Qualcomm processor, possibly the Snapdragon 8S Gen 4, although specific details about the processor are still under wraps.
POCO F7 is still largely a speculation and there have been multiple contradictory claims doing rounds.
