Large batteries in smartphones is the trend that is being mainly running amongst the Chinese smartphone makers. Recently, a Redmi Note 17 poster teaser surfaced online revealing some of its key highlights about the smartphone. The teaser poster puts a strong focus on battery life and performance suggesting that the device could set new benchmarks in the mid-range segment. It also aligns with a previous leak that suggest Redmi might release a mid-ranger with a relatively large battery.
According to the teaser poster of the phone, the Redmi Note 17 will pack a massive 10,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what is typically seen in smartphones. In the poster, the company claims the device can deliver up to 2.2 days of usage on a single charge (DOU 2.2 days) making it ideal for users who prioritise long battery life.
To complement the large battery, Xiaomi is also equipping the device with 100W fast charging support. This is expected to enable rapid charging speeds ensuring users can quickly power up the phone despite its huge battery capacity.
The teaser further confirms that the Redmi Note 17 will feature a 1.5K resolution display with a high refresh rate aimed at delivering a smooth and sharp viewing experience.
On the performance side, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity mid-range chipset although the exact model has not been revealed yet. In terms of camera capabilities, the poster highlights a 200-megapixel flagship-grade camera system indicating a strong focus on photography.
Additionally, the device is expected to come with a premium metal middle frame suggesting a more refined and durable design.
