The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is now available for purchase in India starting today, April 7 via Xiaomi India’s official online store and Flipkart. The smartphone was introduced last week as a new addition to the Redmi Note 15 series, where “SE” stands for Special Edition. The series itself originally debuted in January 2026. Here’s everything you need to know about the sale and the new device.
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is available in three colour options, which are Frosted White, Carbon Black and Crimson Reserve. Notably, the Crimson Reserve variant comes with a premium red vegan leather finish on the rear panel.
As for pricing, the Note 15 SE 5G price in India starts at ₹24,999 for the base variant that provides 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Buyers can also avail no-cost EMI options for up to 6 months via ICICI Bank.

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixel, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and offers up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. It also covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut and comes with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Circadian Friendly and Flicker Free certifications.
Additionally, the device carries IP65 and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The smartphone is powered by a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz paired with an Adreno GPU and Android 15-based HyperOS 2. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
For security, this dual SIM phone includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI Face Unlock.
In terms of cameras, the device features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 1/2.88-inch Light Hunter 400 sensor, along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it houses a 20MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 1/4-inch sensor for selfies and video calls. The phone supports video recording up to 4K at 30fps.
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is backed by a 5,800mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo.
The device measures 164 x 75.42 x 7.35mm and weighs around 178 grams.
