Redmi has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone in India, the Redmi Note 15 5G. The device was earlier unveiled in China in August 2025 and has now made its way to the Indian market with a few notable changes. Here’s everything you need to know about the phone and its India availability.
The REDMI Note 15 5G is available in Glacier Blue, Black, and Mist Purple colour options. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 22,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 24,999.

Sales of the smartphone will begin from January 9th via Amazon.in, Mi.com, and offline retail stores across India.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 3,000 using Axis Bank, SBI, or ICICI Bank cards. No-cost EMI options are also available.

The REDMI Note 15 5G sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392×1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 12-bit colour depth. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 4nm 5G SoC, featuring four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, along with an Adreno 710 GPU.
The device comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. It runs Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and supports hybrid dual SIM functionality.

For optics, the phone includes a 108MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash with support for up to 4K video recording at 30fps. On the front, there is a 20MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture that supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and military-grade durability certified to MIL-STD-810H standards.
It is backed by a 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Connectivity options include 5G support across multiple bands, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with support for multiple satellite systems, and a USB Type-C port. The handset measures 164×75.42×7.35mm for the Black and Glacier Blue variants and 7.4mm for the Mist Purple version, with a weight of 178 grams.
