Xiaomi is getting ready to launch the Redmi K80 Ultra in China soon. The brand recently shared some key specs on Weibo, and now popular tipster Experience More has revealed the full list of features, giving us a good look at what to expect from the upcoming device. So, based on recent leaks and official reveals, here’s everything we know so far.

According to the recent leak, the Redmi K80 Ultra will sport a large 6.83-inch flat M9 display with a resolution of 2772×1280 pixels and a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is sourced from both TCL CSOT and Tianma, just like what Redmi did with the K70 Ultra.

While dual sourcing sometimes raises concerns about panel quality, manufacturers typically calibrate both versions to ensure consistency.
The screen can hit a peak brightness of 3200 nits with 800 nits of typical brightness and up to 1800 nits in high-brightness mode. Redmi is also using a FocalTech touch controller to ensure accurate and responsive touch performance.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset paired with a D2 discrete GPU. It uses fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Cooling gets a major upgrade here, too. Redmi has included its largest-ever 3D Ice-Sealed Circulating Cooling Pump, which features a dual-level raised structure and a 6500mm² LHP area. Xiaomi claims it helps reduce core temperatures by up to 3°C.

The device is powered by a big 7410mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging. It also features bypass charging, which helps reduce heating during gaming sessions.
In the camera department, the K80 Ultra has a 20MP OV20B front camera, while the rear setup includes a 50MP Light Hunter 800 sensor with OIS and a 1/1.55-inch sensor size, along with an 8MP OV08F ultra-wide camera.
The build includes a metal mid-frame, a fibreglass rear panel and Dragon Crystal glass for screen protection. Other highlights include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers with 1115 coaxial drivers and a 0916C X-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback.
For connectivity and extras, you get NFC, an IR blaster and USB 2.0. The phone also includes several of Xiaomi’s in-house Surge chips T1, T1S, P3, and G1 to manage power, charging, and battery health.
The K80 Ultra weighs 219 grams and measures 163.08×77.93×8.18mm. It will be available in four colour options, which include Spruce Green, Ice Blue, Moon Rock White and Sandstone Grey.
Redmi is expected to unveil the K80 Ultra very soon in China, alongside the K Pad.
